We specialize in breeding Full Blooded European Dobermans. We have devoted years worth of research and dedication to the breed to try to produce top quality 100% European Dobermans. Not only pets but show quality, working lines, service work and Excellent dispositions. We strive to make each litter to higher the standards of top quality European Dobermans.
We have devoted a room in our home for whelping purposes. This ensures we can be with them around the clock for a four week period. We start our vaccination and worming process during this time as well so this makes monitoring their progress much easier.
We welcome the pick up of puppies by new owners as well as meeting to deliver. During certain circumstances where flight is needed we have excellent reviews for the shipping company we currently use.
All parents are health tested before breeding. Including VWD and DCM by DNA testing. Also OFA testing, hips, elbows, patella's, cardiac, thyroid and detention to ensure the parents pass on good healthy puppies. We do not breed until parents are two years of age to ensure all health testing is accurate. The parents health testing documents are available upon request and can also accompany new puppies for future health reference. With doing this testing we will honor healthy puppies for the first year against any natural causes in writing prior to the puppy entering their new home.
We do an extensive line of vaccinations and worming program. Puppies start receiving immunizations at one week of age and will continue to receive shots and worming on a weekly basis through the time their ready to go to their new home. All of the history of vaccinations and worming will be documented and shall accompany the puppy to the new owner, Including rabies vaccination and certified health certificate.
We typically do ear crops on each full litter unless natural ears are requested. We have used the same vet for the past 6 years and he continues to do an excellent job. He is very accommodating to do multiple heights of cropping as well. We target to start ear cropping at nine and a half to 10 weeks old. We do four puppies per visit weekly until all puppies are finished. Once puppies come home from the cropping procedure stitches will be removed nine days afterwards. At this point puppies will be available for their new homes. We design our own posting kits and those kits will accompany each puppy to their new home.
Socialization plays the key role in the type of temperament's of the puppies we raise. We begin this process at a very young age so the puppies become very custom to the feel of being handled by little people. As well as the sounds of playful loud voices and sudden movements little people make that can sometimes startle a puppy. This is definitely a process, that's why its considered a "Family Affair" this can not be achieved by a single person it takes the socialization of many. And at no surprise this is the part our grandchildren enjoy the most about each new litter.
Meet Spinxs!
Spinxs is the newest addition to our fur baby family. He was born 8 days premature weighing in at barely 8oz and is the lone survivor of his litter. The first week was very rough he battled a rough case of dehydration and an intestinal infection on top of loosing the only one sibling he had. Spinxs has made leaps and bounds worth of improvement this second week he is currently finishing up his antibiotics and he has a brand new incubator as his living quarters (when he's not snuggled up on my neck in my robe of course) and he is consistently eating more and more every 2 hours. He has quite the appetite for such a lil fella. We have finally hit double digits today he is now 10oz !!!!
